Kitesurf, and wingfoil with friends on a spectacular adventure around the Greek Islands.
Greece boasts a stunning coastline with crystal clear waters, secluded coves, and picturesque islands that make it a paradise for sailing. In addition to its natural beauty, Greece also offers a rich history and culture, a delicious cuisine and beautiful weather that make it an all-around great destination for any traveler.
Greece is known for its world-class wind conditions in the summer, particularly in the Cyclades islands where the Meltemi wind system provides strong, reliable winds from May to October. Our local expertise and the mobility of the boat allow us to find the best conditions in idyllic bays, including well-known spots like Pounda in Paros and Mikri Vigla in Naxos, as well as spots that are only accessible by boat.
Launching and off the boat is a social experience because the boat is anchored and its stern naturally points downwind, allowing you to kite/wing in front of your friends on the boat and get immediate feedback and tips. It is also a great opportunity for photo and video shoots. We often see significant progress among our guests over the course of the week.
Greece boasts some of the most breathtaking spots, and with our boat, we have the chance to visit a diverse range of locations. From crystal clear, flat water that’s ideal for beginners and intermediates, to wind swells for more advanced riders, we have something for everyone. In addition, we have access to secluded, hard-to-reach spots that can only be reached by boat. These exclusive locations offer a truly unparalleled kiteboarding experience, with uncrowded waters and stunning natural surroundings.
We don’t offer lessons for beginners, being able to ride independently and upwind is a requirement for safety and enjoyment. Guest that don't kite or wing will also have plenty of other activities to do, such as swimming, snorkeling, and exploring the islands and their beaches. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded, fun experience for everyone.
To reach Paros, you have several options: 1. Fly directly into Paros international airport (PAS) and take a 10-minute taxi to the main port (Paroikia) would be certainly the best option. 2. Fly into Athens and take a ferry to Paros. Ferries run several times a day and take 3-4 hours. We recommend this option if you plan to stay in Athens for at least a day/night anyways. The Rafina port is the closest to the airport and Piraeus port closest to town. 3. Fly into Mykonos (MYK International Airport) and take a ferry to Paros. This would be an option if you are not able to find good flights straight to Paros.
The boat will be ready to board by 5pm on the day of departure. If you arrive early, you are welcome to drop off your luggage at the boat while we prepare for the journey. Paroikia town and the nearby beach are great places to explore.
In addition to transportation to Paros, you may want to budget extra for some dinners on the islands some of the evenings. The local restaurants offer great quality at relatively good prices. Other than that, all other expenses are included in the trip.
If you need to cancel for personal or other reasons you will be eligible for a 100% refund of the amount paid if you cancel before two months (60 days) of your trip.
Throughout the day, we encounter winds ranging from 15 knots in the low end, all the way to over 30 knots.
The proper size kite for kiteboarding depends on the rider’s weight, skill, and preference. For a heavier rider, a kite quiver of 9m and 11m is recommended. For a lighter rider, a 7m and 9m quiver is recommended. For wing foiling, a 4m and 5m quiver is recommended for a heavier rider, and a 3m and 4m quiver is recommended for a lighter rider.
The trip includes 7 nights accommodation on a luxury catamaran, a 2-person crew, fuel, boat insurance, port fees, cleaning, healthy breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, stand-up paddleboards, snorkeling gear, and unlimited broadband internet.
